ABOUT ARIANA REHORN

Ariana found her passion and purpose in the healing arts at a very young age. Immediately out of high school, she began her pursuit of holistic education. She graduated from the Milan institute after 700 hours of training, while simultaneously attaining her Reiki Master certification. Ariana then completed a two-year Shiatsu apprenticeship under Pamela Henrich, where she honed her abilities in orthopedic massage, prenatal massage, trigger point therapy, and myofascial release. Through this apprenticeship, she also had the opportunity to intern at a chiropractic office with Dr. Jenifer Henrique, where she focused on learning structural integration, sports rehab, and prevention.

She then continued on to a one-month work scholarship at Esalen Institute, where she began her education with yinyoga, IFS (Internal Family Systems, a psychosomatic therapy), and cranial-sacral therapy. Ariana continued her work in Kauai where she started her own practice and continued her education in lymphatic drainage and Mana Lomi massage.

Ariana grew up in the mountains of central California and returned to the Northern Sierra five years ago. Since arriving, Ariana has been a therapist at the spa at Martis Camp, which is renowned as one of the top spas in the country. Recently she has been expanding her private practice and bringing her passion for holistic healing to clients across the region. She has also continued to deepen her massage education, completing her level 3 foundational training in Neuro Affective Touch, a polyvagal-informed psychosomatic therapy that integrates relational and psychodynamic psychotherapy with somatic psychology and the therapeutic use of touch and bodywork under Dr. Alien LaPierre.

By touching and assessing a client’s myofascial response, Ariana gains insight into a client’s physical, emotional, and nutritional well-being. She has seen how diet and lifestyle profoundly impact the progression of chronic pain and illness, and how often diet has emotional ties to developmental foundations. Most recently she completed the Bauman College Nutrition Consultant Program with honors. This is a 15-month program combining advanced biology and evidence informed nutritional science. Nutritional guidance, in tandem with bodywork, energy work, and psychosomatic therapy, radically improves outcomes for personal growth, evolution, and healing.

Ariana is committed to ensuring that each client receives the very best individualized treatment possible. She sees inspiration and compassionate coaching as critical for helping people achieve their optimal health goals. As a massage therapist and holistic practitioner with diverse knowledge and experiences, she combines several progressive therapies with an intuitive application of modalities to best serve each client. This has allowed her to help a large number of people, whether dealing with daily aches and pains or overcoming severe injuries and emotional trauma, as well as preventing invasive surgery.

Currently living in Truckee, CA, Ariana is continuing to build her private practice. She loves hugs, snowboarding, trail running, road biking, dancing, backpacking, and traveling.
