It starts with compassion…
To say that Ariana has the drive and passion to heal would be an understatement. Immediately out of high school, she began on her path to help others. Ariana’s first step was graduating from the Milan institute after amassing 700 massage hours. Towards the end of her studies at the Milan institute, Ariana completed a 2 year Shiatsu apprenticeship under Pamela Henrich, where she honed her abilities
in orthopedic massage, as well as prenatal massage, trigger point therapy and myofascial release. While studying at this apprenticeship, she was given the duty of training new interns in structural integration and detailed muscle work, focusing on rehabilitation and prevention techniques. Continuing her journey
to grow, Ariana pursued a month long work scholarship at the Esalen Institute in Big Sur, where she explored the practices of cranial sacral therapy, Yin yoga, and IFS (Internal Family Systems). Ariana took her knowledge from the thousands of hours of training and opened a successful practice on Kauai. She built a large clientele base by completely integrated herself in the local community, where she still frequently travels to practice. Aside from healing individuals in the comfort
of her own space, she worked at weddings, sporting events and nonprofit events. While operating her practice, she studied Mana Lomi, which uses indigenous Hawaiian healing concepts to work the body, mind, and spirit. This technique is used to prevent and resolve injuries as well as to relieve stress.
Currently, Ariana massages in Truckee, CA, at the spa at Martis Camp, which is renowned as one of the top spas in the country. She also sees private clients at Summit Sports Acupuncture. It is imperative to Ariana that each of her clients receives the very best, individualized treatment possible. Ariana’s continued journey of health and wellness has prompted her to facilitate healing in the
lives of her clients through progressive therapies, with an intuitive mixture of modalities. She has worked with every type of client from expecting mothers to Olympic athletes, using her wide away of disciplines to encourage healing not only physically, but spiritually and mentally. She recognizes that the journey of health and wellness is an infinite practice, encouraging her clients to integrate helpful tools into their day to day life.
